Forged In Battle

This week a group women gathered together at Skyrose Ranch for the Mighty Oaks Women’s Legacy Program. Once everyone arrived at the ranch, it was immediately evident that friendships were blossoming. Although the elements were less than agreeable when our session began, these women were ready to weather the storm both outside and inside of their lives.

From the beginning, this group of ladies showed extreme courage in their openness and willingness to put in the work in order to move forward in their lives and take on any challenges that they may have been facing when they came. As they worked through each class and session, the eagerness to glean all they could was even more evident as hearts began to change. Each morning was filled with new hope and each evening ended with a few more gleaming faces.

It’s often said that men who go to battle together form bonds that create a closeness and a “brotherhood” that will last a lifetime. These women came in ready to fight for themselves and their families. There was a spiritual warfare in our midst but God gets all the praise and glory for the tremendous amount of breakthroughs and decisions made! These women may have come together as strangers, but they fought hard through some tough battles, and are now leaving with a bond of sisterhood that will allow them to rally around each other as allies to ensure a lasting and impactful legacy.

God is on the move and these ladies left with a fire in their heart to let His move start with them. Another amazing session closes, but praise Jesus, “NEW THINGS” are only just beginning!
