Unforgotten is the story of the effects of war, and the hope that can be found after, through family and faith. This is what we’re all about here at Mighty Oaks.
“This amazing film captures the very heart of our mission at Mighty Oaks Foundation. Unforgotten is an incredible new film about the Korean War and the impact of war on the human soul and the hope available through faith and family.”-Chad Robichaux, Founder of Mighty Oaks Foundation
Filmmaker Darrin Dick, goes on a discovery to uncover the story of his veteran grandfather, Harold Bauer. During an interview with his grandson and trip to the Korean War Memorial in DC, Harold opens up about his faith, family and memories from the “almost” Forgotten Korean War that he’s never told anybody before.
“Unforgotten is an incredible film that takes the viewer on the personal journey of one man from the opening days of the Korean War to a grandfather sharing his struggles for the first time in seventy years. As the Executive Director of an organization dedicated to serving Americas Veterans and Active Duty military members, even though the themes and conclusions shared throughout this film spoke to me personally, I could not help but thinking that everyone we serve needs to see this as soon as possible. I am thankful for the work of Darrin and his team and know that this documentary will help many.”– Jeremy Stalnecker, Executive Director of Mighty Oaks Foundation
We’re proud to partner with this film and those behind it. 10% of the profits from this film will be donated to Mighty Oaks Foundation to help our Nation’s Warriors.
