David PlattMcLean Bible Church Pastor-Teacher, shared an amazing message on Sunday, July 1st, on Faith and Freedom and (at 1:12 of the video below) honored Mighty Oaks Foundation and team leaders, Marc & Iris Estrada and Gabe & Tina Delarosa.
Ps Platt’s message revolved around the Scripture below (1 Peter 2:13-17) and two main points; the first being we are submissive citizens of a government and second, we are free servants of God!
“Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.”  1 PETER 2:13 – 17
The service ended with a powerful message that honored our military Warriors who give their lives defending our nation’s freedom.

Let us all give our lives spreading ultimate freedom among all nations.
