Mighty Oaks Foundation Founder, Chad Robichaux and Mighty Oaks Foundation Board Advisor & 16th SgtMaj of the Marine Corps (Ret), Carlton Kent, teamed up at the end of August as the speakers for I-MEF (Marine Expeditionary Force) Resiliency Event.  Approximately 1,000 Marines & Sailors filled the new Base Theatre for the 2 hour event. We were blown away with the incredible response by the Warriors and leadership who were impacted by the messages.  Mighty Oaks Team Leaders met with the Warriors at the end of the event and distributed nearly 2,000 books and info on Mighty Oaks Programs; applications are already in for Legacy Programs as a result.

In fact, Chad and SgtMaj Kent visited several Marine Commands in Southern California. Amongst those visits was to I-MEF, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, and the School of Infantry and the RTC (Reconnaissance Training Center), where the staff gave Chad and SgtMaj Kent a first look at their amazing new facilities and programming to train Recon Marines.   An awesome time was had by all.  Hundreds of Marines & Sailors showed up to at Paige Field in Camp Pendleton, CA for our BJJ Base Seminar hosted by Mighty Oaks and Carlson Gracie BJJ.

Special thanks to Gunny Micah Gonzalez for outstanding organizing the event and to Prof. Tom Cronin and coaches Gene and AJ from Carlson Gracie, for teaching alongside our founder, Chad Robichaux.
