2020 Warrior Gala Donations Portal
We want to offer deepest thanks to everyone who came out to help celebrate our Nation’s Warriors and the incredible work that you enable Mighty Oaks to do through your generous support. It was a night of powerful testimony and moving words from Congressman Dan Crenshaw, Chad Prather and our President and Founder Chad Robichaux.
We had our biggest attendance yet with over 600 in the crowd Saturday night, and we set out with our biggest goal yet, to fund 400 Warriors to attend our Legacy Program, covering all the costs for them to including travel, to receive the vital help that our peer-to-peer recovery program has become so well known for.
We were able to raise enough funds to provide full program scholarships to 125 Warriors, which comes to a monetary equivalent of $300,000. We feel blessed that we did so well but ultimately fell short of the goal. We wanted to put the call out to you, our biggest supporters to see if anyone feels called to bridge that gap between what we raised and what it will take to help another 75 Warriors attend, which in terms of dollars is $200,000.
For us, it’s not about dollars, but the number of Warriors lives we touch and legacies changed with what is one of the most effective peer-to-peer recovery programs available anywhere for PTS(d) in the fight against the rising suicide epidemic.
It is not too late to contribute to our 2020 fund we started that night, to help us rise to meet the ever-increasing need, and give us a head start to affording everything we offer to our Warriors at no cost to them, throughout the next year. If you would like to contribute for the first time or to increase your gift, you can do so through our secure online donation portal below.
We also wanted to give everyone a chance to download photos from the event, please enjoy the gallery directly above.
We can’t thank everyone enough who helped make the night such a wonderful event, and we hope to see you next year at our 10th Anniversary Warrior Gala, it will be something truly special for us to celebrate.
